The Bachelor of Science in Architecture is a 10-semester pre-professional undergraduate degree that leads to an accelerated two-year Master of Architecture by integrating ongoing, real-world design practice with disciplinary courses.

Our design-led Architectural Technology BSc will give you the skills you need to launch your career in design and development. From architectural composition and technical analysis to the business and management skills you'll need for contract procurement, we'll teach you how to apply technical decision-making to real-life design challenges. Learning in our dedicated Architectural Technology studio and working on real design briefs, you’ll develop a sound understanding of the processes of design and construction and the management tools, particularly CAD, for communicating design information. You'll gain an understanding of the multidisciplinary and collaborative nature of the modern construction industry, and will have the chance to work alongside students from all construction courses in Year 1. Studying the Architectural Technology BSc will give you the framework to practise privately, or — on a successful MCIAT chartership — run a business in the architectural and construction industries. All of our courses are delivered using an enquiry-based blended learning approach involving workshops, lectures, tutorials and independent study. We assess your learning through a variety of methods including project work, essays and exams.

To form a humanist and a generalist architect: this is the purpose of the course of study at the Academy of Architecture, based on a balanced integration between practical design work, the humanities and technical-scientific subjects. The educational project covers a total of five years of teaching and one of practice in a professional office. The core of the training is embodied in design studios, taught by internationally acclaimed architects who give the students hands-on teaching, so that theoretical knowledge is continually being tested in real-life practice.

This program in BSc + MSc in Architecture trains students to apply their complex knowledge in the areas of architecture and urban planning, as well as in the multi-faceted field of environment formation in general (architectural design, town and country planning, preservation of built heritage, structural design, construction work, management and administration tasks, consulting with authorities, teaching, etc.) In addition, students are prepared for their professional planning license once they have gained the prerequisite practical experience as required by the relevant regulations.

B.Sc. Architecture provides students with knowledge and skills for the creative process of planning and designing, in urban and rural areas.  You will learn about architectural tools, as well as a variety of interdisciplinary subjects related to architecture and the planning process.
