Beep - Biology for Human Space Exploration Seasonal School will introduce participants to the urgent topic of space biology, a discipline that aims at developing a better understanding of how life operates in built environments in space, or in ground-based experiments that mimic aspects of spaceflight, to prepare for future human exploration missions far from Earth.

The Master’s degree course in Health Biology has as its primary objective the training of a Biologist with specific skills in the field of Biomedical and Health Sciences. This course provides a suitable cultural basis for access to Bio sanitary Specialization Schools recognized by the Ministry of Health (necessary for the managerial career in both public and private laboratory), Research Doctorates in the biomedical field and II level Master.

The Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences provides a solid preparation on scientific and methodological topics in the different fields of modern biology. Strong emphasis will be given to quantitative and computational aspects, with a focus on tools to analyze, model, and understand biological systems and phenomena.

The PhD program in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology focuses on the study of biological diversity and its evolution, as well as the behavior and relationships of living things, including humans, among themselves and with the environment. Evolutionary biology and ecology represent an integrated research area, which in many prestigious institutions is part of a single Department of Ecology and Evolution.

The Master's Degree course in Biology provides a highly specialized training course for the access to advanced levels of training (PhD) and to undertake scientific research in universities or in public or private research laboratories, project activities in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and agro/food companies and public and private organizations, and job opportunities in the fields of environmental impact, biodiversity and health.

The International Doctorate in Structural Biology is an international doctorate in collaboration with the Universities of Frankfurt and Utrecht. It was established with an agreement signed by the three Rectors in 2001. On the basis of this agreement, the PhD title that students obtain at the end of the program is considered equivalent to that obtained at the Bijvoet Center for Biomolecular Research and to the PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Frankfurt.
