BBA Global Business Systems Management (GBSM) aims to nurture students to become smart business managers.

CityUHK BBA Marketing stands out from other BBA and Marketing programmes by providing a pioneering approach “i-Marketing + Global Marketing & Marketing Analytics”. CityUHK BBA Marketing consists of two main streams: Global Marketing and Marketing Analysis

Our BBA Accountancy program offers two streams. The Professional Accounting stream is designed to equip students with accounting knowledge and professional skills for the profession. The ESG and Tech stream is designed to equip students with digital technology, risk management, and data analytical skills, in addition to the fundamental accounting knowledge.

The BBA Management programme aims to equip students with the abilities and skills to successfully manage people and teams within an organisation and manage the organisation itself, in both local and international environments. The major offers a choice of two distinctive streams: Human Resources Management (HRM) and Strategy and International Management (SIM).

The BBA Global Operations Management (GOM) programme aims to enable students to develop their analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and technical competence in operations management, operations strategy, and supply chain management in a global context.

The BBA Business Decision Analytics (BDAN) programme aims to develop students’ qualitative and quantitative ability to solve business problems and make decisions through DEEP data analysis. We consist of two study streams: Decision Analytics and Data Informatics.

The BBA Global Business programme offers a globally oriented curriculum and opportunities for students to develop a global mindset, think strategically and contribute to companies doing business internationally. Our application-oriented courses prepare the next generation of managers to lead global teams. In the Global Business Consultancy Project, for instance, students will actually work in a multinational corporation and get involved in solving real business problems.

Applicants to this programme will be considered for admission to first-year studies at the Department of Economics and Finance. Students will enter a major (current major options: Business Economics; Finance) after one year of study.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) The Department of Business Administration was one of the earliest academic departments of HKSYU and was founded in 1971. Over the years, our graduates have gained multifaceted business and professional knowledge and developed creativity and innovative ability.

Our highly qualified academic staff members share their business experiences and research findings with students. Students are able to apply what they have learned through internships. Our programmes integrate the latest technological knowledge related to business into the curriculum. New concepts such as fintech and big data will be included in specific accounting and finance selected subjects. Students develop strong skills in accounting and finance, including accounting and financial analysis, control and risk management, corporate governance and ethics.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Marketing provides students with a well-rounded business education; competence in the analysis, planning, implementation and control of marketing decisions; analytical ability and research competence; the ability to communicate, interact and intervene in the integrative role that is ascribed to marketing; appreciation of the responsibilities of marketing professionals within broader environmental and international contexts; and literacy in the use of information systems and technology that are relevant to marketing.
