The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Financial Analysis and Fintech Programme aims to prepare graduates with knowledge in both Financial Analysis and FinTech, allowing them to integrate with the competitive finance industry.

The MSc in Finance offers rigorous training to master financial theories and techniques and develop strong quantitative reasoning, along with the latest technological skills in finance. You can study full-time for 1 year with opportunities to go on exchange and study field trips, or part-time for 2 years.

The Master of Science in Financial Technology Management provides understanding of the FinTech industry while equipping them with essential managerial skills to thrive in this dynamic sector. It imparts relevant knowledge to help students effectively lead and communicate with their teams.

Applicants to this programme will be considered for admission to first-year studies at the Department of Economics and Finance. Students will enter a major (current major options: Business Economics; Finance) after one year of study.

The BBA (Honours) in Finance and Banking aims at providing students with the necessary skills and professional knowledge for developing the career in financial and banking management positions or pursuing further studies at postgraduate level. Upon completion of BBA (Honours) in FB, graduates are well equipped with both qualitative and quantitative knowledge in positioning themselves at business and government sectors.

The BSc Computational Finance and Financial Technology major has two streams, namely (1) Computational Finance Stream and (2) Financial Technology Stream. Students from both Computational Finance and Financial Technology streams can apply for admission to the Joint Bachelor's Degree Program between City University of Hong Kong and Columbia University. Upon completion of this joint degree program, students will receive the dual awards conferred by Columbia University and CityUHK.

The Master of Sustainable Accounting and Finance programme at the HKU Business School is designed to provide a coherent and systematic curriculum to fresh college graduates and young professionals.

The HKU Master of Finance (MFin) Programme is an interdisciplinary programme aiming to provide motivated individuals with not only cutting-edge training in financial theory but also the necessary mathematical, statistical and computer training.

Through this double degree programme, students will receive a rigorous and comprehensive education in both environmental engineering and finance. The HKU Business School Master of Finance in Financial Technology programme is jointly offered by three faculties: HKU Business School, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Engineering. Our cutting-edge curriculum balances quantitative skills and visionary thinking and applies techniques of big data, Al and natural language processing to analyse real-world financial projects. Students will also cover the legal aspects of FinTech, from cybersecurity to data protection and smart contracts. There is a strong industry demand for MFFinTech graduates, with career opportunities in commercial and investment banks, brokerage and investment firms, private equity and venture capital firms, FinTech startups, insurance companies, treasury departments of non-financial corporations, regulatory agencies, and consulting and accounting firms.

Led by an outstanding team of visionaries and experts, the Master of Family Wealth Management programme offered by HKU Business School and the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences dives deep into the historical roots, cultural dimensions, and cutting-edge strategies of family wealth.

The Wealth and Asset Management Concentration, newly open to all BBA students admitted from AY 2025/26, is designed to address the growing demand for talent in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area’s dynamic financial sector. This concentration blends core business knowledge with specialized training in wealth management, asset allocation, family office operations, and sustainable investing. This concentration can be claimed as either a 1st or 2nd concentration, applicable to the students who were admitted to the First-Year Studies of BBA Programme in the AY2025/26 onwards.
