The BVSc program is accredited with theSouth African Veterinary Council (SAVC), theVeterinary Council of Namibia (VCN), theRoyal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)in the United Kingdom, and theAustralasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC)in Australia and New Zealand. BVSc graduates are eligible to register as veterinarians in these and several other countries without passing any further professional examinations. TheSAVCgoverns the ethics and standards of veterinary education and practice in South Africa. All students must register with the Council at first registration in the BVSc program, maintain their registration annually, and adhere to its rules. Registration with the SAVC is a prerequisite for practising as a veterinarian in South Africa.

This Program is open to high school graduates and students with university studies as well, as it is a combined Bachelor and Master Program.

The Certificate and Diploma courses are suitable if you want to achieve academic qualifications before starting work in an area of horse-based or related industries. The courses are designed in response to the economic and cultural importance of the horse based industries in Ireland and abroad and their need for high quality staff. You can graduate after two years with a Certificate level qualification or, you can progress to a Diploma or Degree level qualification. Progression to the Diploma in Science (Equine Science) program is subject to achieving at least Second Class Honours Grade 2 in the Certificate program.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Universitas Syiah Kuala (FVM-USK), Banda Aceh. Indonesia is one of the oldest faculties within this university. FVM-USK was established on October 17, 1960, and already plays an important role in improving the competence of human resources who are professional and have strong analytical skills in the fields of animal health, zoonoses, and food safety of animal origin. The strategy to achieve these targets is outlined in the vision of FVM-USK: “become innovative, independent, and leading in implementing the three pillars of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) with reliable human resources in developing and application veterinary technology at the international level by 2030”. FVM-USK is provided education for both Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine Study Program (BVM-SP) and Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine Study Program (PPVM-SP). The two study programs have been accredited with “Excellent” category by the National Accreditation Institution for Higher Education in Medical Sciences (LAMPTKes).
