8 Pilot Training Bachelor's Degree Programs

The Bachelors in Aeronautics program is the most comprehensive pilot degree program in CAU’s School of Aviation. Students learn the fundamentals of meteorology, aerodynamics, flight safety, aircraft performance, aviation weather, aircraft maintenance, aeronautical science, and aviation management. With up to four days a week of actual flying, students gain enough ground and flight instruction to earn six different aviation licenses/ratings upon graduation. The variety of licenses earned in the bachelors in aeronautics program (private pilot, instrument-rated pilot, certified flight instructor, certified flight instructor instrument, and commercial pilot-single and multi-engine) gives graduates a wider range of employment options to choose from. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in aeronautics program may be eligible to receive a 500- hour reduction in their FAA-mandated Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) flight hour requirement (normally 1500 hours) and the opportunity to interview for a flight instructor position. The program developed by Airbus aims to equip cadets with the skills and mindset necessary to become an operation-ready pilot, focusing on developing the pilots' key behavioral and technical competencies. Cadets will benefit from a comprehensive and fully integrated ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) program, based on Airbus' high standards and world experience in pilot training.

ACS and DCS: Our students who stand out for their good results and their exemplary attitude run the chance, with the approval of the pedagogical council, to be selected to take advantage of our agreement with Jazz Aviation and participate in the Jazz pathway program giving rise to direct access to the selection course. Our students who achieve high academic standards and have an exemplary attitude have the opportunity to be selected by the pedagogical council to participate in the Jazz Pathway program, giving direct access to the selection process at Jazz Aviation LP.
