The aim of the Faculty of Law at Syiah Kuala University is to prepare students to become law graduates who produce graduates who are cautious, qualified, innovative, professional, and highly competitive; produce research that is superior in supporting the development of legal science and able to answer legal problems; increased ability, skills, and insights of graduates and lecturers in community service; increasing the fabric of partnership with various domestic and foreign institutions that are sustainable.

Educate students to become scholars, scientists, and experts in the field of international relations who have the quality of readiness to reach the highest degrees in their fields of science and profession, and have the quality of readiness and workability in every social and state technology, both on a national and international scale.

Considering its newly establishment in 2009, International Relations Study Programme (IRSP) has to adhere to Presuniv’s ideas of becoming a research and development center, as well as setting its own benchmark in accordance to Presuniv’s Statute. For this purpose, it was necessary to compare and contrast the curriculums of various Departments of International Relations operated by several universities inside and outside Indonesia, and examine their relevance to Presuniv’s ideas of setting a new benchmark in Indonesian higher education. To better link the curriculum with the future users, consultations were established with various ministries under the current Indonesian administration, as well as business councils already operated by Indonesian and its diplomatic partners. Consultations are also conducted with various Multinational Corporations (MNCs) operating in the country.

The English Language Education Department (ELED) is designed for millennials who are creative, global-minded and adaptive to advances in science and technology. ELED prepares eLedears (ELED students) to be ready to work in academic and non-academic environments with national and global competitiveness.

The vision of UNPAR is an aspiration of Parahyangan Catholic University’s academic community regarding the direction of UNPAR development. It is based on UNPAR’s aphorism “Bakuning Hyang Mrih Guna Santyaya Bhakti” which means “Based on the belief in God, pursuing knowledge in devotion to the community”. In addition, it is also the result of an analysis regarding UNPAR in the past, present, and in the future.
