28 Law and Social Science Bachelor's Degree Programs in Hong Kong

The programme aims to equip students with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of psychology and enables them to apply this knowledge in various work settings, including social welfare, education and healthcare. Graduates can pursue careers in psychology and related fields.

This major is the first and only program in Hong Kong to focus on the increasingly important Asian region in this Asian age. It strengthens students’ international perspectives. It features opportunities for students to join overseas exchange programs and field trips to different countries in and beyond Asia to broaden their horizons.

This programme aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of this approach, including the use of scientific theories, methods and strategies for preventing crime. This is the only UGC-funded undergraduate programme in Hong Kong to provide comprehensive training in the discipline of Crime Science.

Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) originated from the University of Oxford in the 1920s. HSUHK is the first and only university offering a PPE Programme in Hong Kong. Compared to other programmes that concentrate solely on Philosophy, Politics or Economics, BSocSc-PPE serves as a unique interdisciplinary study programme that emphasises generalist training and aims to equip students with capacities and skills that are applicable in a variety of careers, including economic and financial analysis, policy and public administration consultant, and civil servants.

The Bachelor of Social Sciences in Social Work (BSSSW) programme is a helping professional degree that is accredited by the Social Workers Registration Board (SWRB) to promote human and community well-being, with a commitment to upholding human dignity, social equality, and diversity.

The graduates of the double degree programme, the Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy, benefit from a rigorous legal education combined with solid academic training in accounting within a global business mindset.

We will provide substantial training and practical opportunities, both locally and abroad, in various learning modes to build up your professional skills, competence, and confidence.

Students in this curriculum may choose to major in one of the six core disciplines: China Studies, Geography, Politics and Public Administration, Psychology, Social Policy and Social Development, and Sociology.
