After completing their first 60+ units at Mission College, many students then transfer to a university to complete their Bachelor's degree. Our international students have transferred to many prestigious four-year universities.

The Bachelor's Programme in Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Helsinki offers a unique, interdisciplinary education entirely in English. The programme has a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary contextualisation, analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking.

In EOU's online bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies program, students practice skills transferable to virtually any career by integrating two chosen fields of study with learning experiences in and outside of the classroom. Students can complete two EOU minors, use an existing minor, or create an individualized plan.

Liberal Studies (LBS) is an interdisciplinary undergraduate major for students who intend to become elementary and special education teachers or to pursue related graduate work. Courses leading to the B.A. in Liberal Studies focus on the subject areas taught in elementary schools as well as professional preparation and early fieldwork. LBS is a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) approved Elementary Subject Matter Preparation Program (ESM). LBS also offers two Integrated Teacher Education Programs (ITEP) in which students earn a B.A. and a credential for teaching elementary school (multiple subjects) or special education (education specialist mild/moderate).

The Bachelor's degree program in Liberal Arts and Humanities offers studies of the humanities and focuses on philosophy, history, and cultural and social anthropology. The program's significant feature is a widely open study schedule that allows students to pursue their individual abilities and develop their interests. The student takes mandatory courses in humanities and social sciences and passes comprehensive exams relevant to each field. By choosing other elective courses during the studies, the student can gradually specialize and focus either on further (Master's) study in any of the relative theoretical fields or on the practical use of acquired skills. The study program is realized without specialization.

For those who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of world culture and history while studying journalism, Carleton offers a Bachelor of Journalism and Humanities degree. Students in this intensive degree program spend about 40 per cent of their time taking core journalism courses.

One of the Humanities degree’s objectives is to train professionals capable of understanding the events taking place in the world today and to tackle the problems and issues of our time with a critical approach. Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (BAS-ROBAI) program focuses on hands-on learning.
