Undergraduate Degree in Food Sciences and Cultures with our unique approach, we combine theoretical learning with practical experiences, helping students to understand diverse production realities and develop critical thinking. Students work in an international and intercultural context in order to increase their knowledge of the language, literature, history, politics, art cinema etc. of several English-speaking countries (Great Britain, the United States, Ireland, Canada etc.) They also choose options which will prepare them for the world of work (eg. Business English, Didactics of English, Interpretation etc.) Students must also take classes in a second modern language and may study a third one if they wish.

The first-cycle program - East European Studies: Languages and Discourses—is meticulously crafted to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Eastern Europe, a region pivotal to global political and economic stability. Renowned for its political, cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity, Eastern Europe has witnessed a multitude of historical and contemporary conflicts, including the ongoing war in Ukraine.

International Relations and Area Studies program is an undergraduate interdisciplinary program that offers a rigorous international and comparative perspective on the contemporary global system and different regions of the world. Its aim is to foster creative thinking about complex global problems and to equip students with the analytical tools, language expertise, and cross-cultural understanding to guide them in that process. Our degree provides a solid grounding in international issues together with an opportunity to specialize in International Security or Area Studies.

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Cultural Studies seeks to train professionals capable of understanding the growing complexity of today’s urban and cosmopolitan societies:   social movements; leisure industries and cultural consumption as the basic economic engines; access to cultural property and goods; cultural factors in group management in all ambits; and the semantic complexity of messages in the information society.

The intellectual framework that sets Africana Studies apart from other disciplines is that it explores the subject area from the perspective of Africana peoples' interests, aspirations, possibilities, and envisioned destinies. The foundation of the discipline rests on an understanding and appreciation of African peoples' worldview and philosophy of life as the starting point for all Africana intellectual inquiry. It will teach you how to grasp regional problems in their context. You will understand the historical and cultural underpinnings of Central Europe. You can become a highly skilled employee in the civil service or diplomacy, in NGOs or international institutions as well as in private companies or media, or you may choose to pursue a Master’s degree, with the option to study in both English and Czech, opening up a range of new opportunities.

Because it combines knowledge systems across the meta-disciplines of the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences, an IDS major is great preparation for both the workplace and for entry into graduate or professional schools. IDS is part of a national network of Programs for Accelerated College Education (PACE) that are designed for working, adult students who want to earn a bachelor’s degree in a reasonable period of time while they maintain a full-time job. While all admitted students are welcome, IDS/PACE students are primarily transfers who enter CSUDH with 60 units and junior-class standing.

In Oradea, a university center with a tradition of more than two centuries, the program of International Relations and European Studies was established in 2003 and accredited in the spring of 2008, within the Department bearing the same name and has since become one of the most effective, efficient and dynamic program in our University. The national performance of the teaching staff, a relatively young one, has resulted in the grade received for the activity of research.
