17 Ancient History Bachelor's Degree Programs

The degree course in 'Ancient Cultures and Archaeology: Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean' aims to provide knowledge of the main civilizations of the Mediterranean, Africa and Asia, from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. A perspective of comparison between the different areas is pursued, in order to allow the student to fully understand the complexity of the ancient world in its multiple chronological, geographical and cultural declinations.

The Bachelor's Degree in Ancient Civilizations for the Contemporary World program, taught in English, is jointly hosted by the University of Milan La Statale and the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The program aims to provide a piece of basic, solid knowledge and training in the management and promotion of the tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage of several civilizations of the past, which flourished in Europe, North Africa, and Eastern and Western Asia.
