This program, offered in Kansas City at our Parkville campus, includes courses in general biology, botany, anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and research techniques.

Our education degree plan is offered at our Kansas City campus and leads to certification in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School or Secondary Education, or K-12 Education.

This undergraduate major, offered in Kansas City and at our extended campuses, will help a student prepare for a career in business or government leadership and provide him/her with knowledge and skills desired by all types of employers. It can also give one the background to organize and manage his/her family business.

The Information and Computer Science (ICS) degree program prepares students for a broad range of computer opportunities in industry as well as in graduate studies. ICS students choose one or more specialty areas from among these four options: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Management, and Networking.

The study of mathematics prepares students for graduate studies in mathematics, related sciences, economics and business administration.

The Bachelor of Science in Education - Early Childhood Education program covers the education of children from birth through grade 3 and leads to teaching certification. This degree requires a minimum of 120 total credit hours to graduate.

The Bachelor of Science in Education - Middle School Education program covers the education of children from grade 5 through grade 9 and leads to teaching certification. This degree requires a minimum of 120 total credit hours to graduate.

The criminal justice administration program combines the Park University tradition of liberal arts education with a modern professional curriculum preparing graduates to work in the criminal justice system and related professions or moves on to graduate school.

The Finance program is designed to impart an understanding of the various areas and principles of finance. The intent of the program is to meet the educational needs of students who wish to pursue careers in private or public organizations or graduate studies in finance or business administration by arming the student with a body of specialized knowledge and analytical methods.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies is meant to prepare students to be successful in law school or in graduate schools leading to legal careers. The program emphasizes critical thinking, logical reasoning, and analysis of contemporary legal and social issues, reading and writing.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Administration has an “applied” orientation whereby the student is prepared to put to practical use the knowledge gained from the program.

This Economics degree program is designed to give students in-depth education in one of the applied social sciences. Economics is the social science which investigates the conditions and laws affecting the production, distribution and consumption of wealth in an organized society.

Chemistry is the recognized physical basis for the biological and psychological sciences and is important in every effort of our industrialized society. Students with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry wishing to pursue a career in the chemical profession can find positions in chemistry, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, laboratory technology, or the environmental sciences.

The healthcare administration major is designed to prepare students for entry level positions within healthcare and related industries and to provide the foundational competencies necessary to academically excel in graduate school. The curriculum stresses the development of the soft management skills and is designed to give the students practical knowledge, skills, and the ability to perform in variety of healthcare administration functions with a multitude of business structures and industries.

Students taking the Management core receive a broad education covering the major functional areas of management.
