Graduates will be able to design, develop and administrate a commercial-quality software system that includes database interaction, cybersecurity, and a multi-user interface.

The bachelor degree of science is designed for the maintenance technician with a future goal of a management position. This would include shop foreman, lead technician, and other supervisory positions. The additional courses will give the student background for leadership roles in the aviation maintenance area. Courses in people skills and communications, both verbal and written, are enhanced. Additional math skills, as well as computer skills, will be developed.

The robotics and automation engineering technology bachelor’s degree provides students the technical knowledge and analytical skills needed to design, build, and control the movements and actions of robots and automation systems. This program provides experiential learning in the fundamental areas of machine design and analysis and digital and analog circuits, along with specialized training in robotics and automation topics such as automated control systems, manufacturing, robotic programming algorithms, and various sensor systems including machine vision.

The human development and family science bachelor's degree program at Kansas State University provides undergraduate students a strong foundation of coursework and experiences that will lead to an abundance of opportunities to work with people of all ages in a large variety of settings. The Department of Biology offers a wide range of courses designed to provide the student community with comprehensive exposure to the living world. The curriculum of the department is designed to introduce students to the varieties of organisms and phenomena found in the realm of biology. The department seeks to educate its students beyond the simple acquisition of information by encouraging active student participation in the actual “doing” of biology. Hands-on lecture activities are incorporated into most courses, and laboratories allow students to carry out experiments and procedures performed by professionals in those fields of biology.
