Job prospects are bright for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists—especially those who graduate from UNC’s accredited dietetics bachelor’s degree program. About 75 percent of our students (above the national average) are admitted to postgraduate internships, which are required before you can take the national board examination to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

In the wide-open landscape of rural Colorado, a group of students gathers data about food deserts. The topic is part of their class focus on food and place. They are studying how humans impact the landscape and how the landscape shapes people’s lives. These students can tell you that geography is far more than examining maps and locations.

The sculpture program introduces and encourages exploration into many processes, materials, and contemporary concepts, using a 3-D multi-media approach. Fabrication in steel, using MIG and TIG welding, plasma cutting, and sheet metal forming.

The Digital Media area offers state-of-the-art computer imaging, artistic exploration, communication through storytelling, and knowledge visualization, which are skills often sought by prospective employers. Students learn techniques for image quality, artistic development for concepts, 3D printing, animation, video production, digital illustration, scientific illustration, and technical illustration, along with storyboarding, storyline development, storytelling techniques, character development, visual music, and graphic arts.

The Graphic Design program at UNC will prepare you to work as a visual thinker and communicator using a variety of traditional print and emerging digital media. The program integrates practice, theory, and inquiry, while refining and encouraging innovation, critical thinking, visual literacy, and conceptual problem-solving. The Liberal Arts curriculum also provides a broad-based foundation for additional experiences in other areas of art, science, journalism, advertising, marketing, and media.

Bachelor of Arts Degree Option - Business and Public Policy from a Christian World View focuses on Biblical foundations of business and Christian statesmanship precepts. The student will be able to navigate these areas with a Christian worldview.
