Bachelors in Nanotechnology is one of the youngest and most significantly developing scientific disciplines of the 21st century. VŠB-TUO offers the study of this interesting field in a bachelor´s study. The program of study has interdisciplinary character and provides theoretical knowledge of physics and chemistry. It is focused on the study of the structure, properties of nanomaterials and their preparation. The graduate has wide range of employment in laboratories and operations of industrial enterprises that deal with modern materials. At the same time, the graduate can continue in follow up master degree program and thus deepen his knowledge and skills.

The graduate of the Building Structures specialization will be an expert in the field of structural analysis, implementation and design of industrial and civil engineering structures and bridges, and will be primarily employed in construction companies designing engineering structures or ensuring their operation, repair and reconstruction. Graduates will also have a broad knowledge of computational and numerical methods so that they can apply both in projection and in the design of algorithms for static calculations, their testing and verification of their accuracy. He will also be able to work as a developer and consultant for software design and engineering firms or research organizations in professional positions, where he will be able to create specialized computational algorithms for numerical modeling of special problems. The graduate will have the knowledge needed for the follow-up master's study programs in statics, dynamics and engineering.

Bachelor in Computer Science is a professional with knowledge and skills that meet internationally recognized standards. The bachelor's study provides him/her excellent ability to orientate him/herself on the evolving labour market. During the study, the ratio between knowledge and skills is very carefully balanced, even concerning the individual interest of the student.

During the study, the student of the specialization of Building and Industrial Constructions will acquire the knowledge of designing and realising building constructions - residential buildings, civic amenities buildings, industrial buildings and agricultural buildings.
