A major in psychology at Webster Geneva Campus gives you the opportunity to study questions about human behavior and mental life ranging from how you see the world to why you fall in love. You will study the great controversies: nature versus nurture, free will, consciousness, the brain/mind dichotomy, human difference and social and cross-cultural perspectives. You will explore different branches within psychology including biological, clinical, cognitive, developmental, social and cultural.

Following a core set of courses that are common to all business majors (Business Administration, Management, etc), students branch out into their major subjects (see below). Students often pursue internships at the end of their second or third year — a unique opportunity arising from strong ties to the local business community in Geneva.

A major in Media Studies will provide you with essential skills in oral, visual and written communications. You will gain proficiency in critical thinking and social media, some of the top skills that employers seek in any career field. The program balances practical media skills with a solid academic path.

The Computer Science major at Webster Geneva brings knowledge and skills that range from methodology (project management, specification, requirements analysis, GUI design) to practical skills (C++, algorithms, data structures, databases, networks, operating systems). Over the four years of their Bachelor of Science, students learn what they need to join a software development project.

About half of our students at Webster Geneva Campus are business majors. We will prepare you to join the professional world through a well-rounded curriculum that is tailored for you. Beginning with a rigorous program of core business courses, including accounting, economics, business law and management theory, which will give you the academic foundation you will need to move into advanced-level course work.

Our International Relations department in Geneva gives students exposure to the driving forces of contemporary politics, the geopolitical history that created our modern world, the analytical skills and critical theories of political science needed to understand these dynamics — as well as unparalleled access to witness international diplomacy in action.

This program is offered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences/History, Politics and International Relations. It is available at the St. Louis home campus and at select international campuses.

Many of the courses that make up the Finance and Economics majors are taught across the global Webster network of campuses, and all business majors are encouraged to consider a Study Abroad experience. This gives students the opportunity to gain a truly global perspective while advancing toward graduation with their major course requirements.
