First of its kind in Korea, the department of Kumdo trains students in the four foundations of Kumdo: ‘Kumdo people proficient in both literary and martial arts who possess tenacious will power and manners; ‘cultured Kumdo people’ who possess scientific knowledge and comprehensive understanding of Orientalism; ‘excellent Kumdo people’ possessing a high-level practical skill ability; and ‘global Kumdo people’ possessing foreign language skills and comprehensive understanding of international society.

This department contributes toward training glocal(global + local) administrators in the 21st century to play a leading role in the development of the country and the public well-being, by educating theory and practice.

This department allows students to acquire the basic knowledge of flight operation through systematic flight operation disciplines. It aims at producing civil airplane pilots in working domestic and international aviation industry.
