BVSc graduates are eligible to register as veterinarians in these and several other countries without passing any further professional examinations. Geology is the study of the Earth and includes aspects related to its formation, composition, structure and processes. South Africa is known for its large reserves of gold, platinum, chromium, vanadium and other metal ores, as well as substantial diamond and coal reserves. A love for the Earth and working outdoors, and an interest in geology or geomorphology will be beneficial. The purpose of a BA (Law) degree is to allow the student to acquire knowledge of the South African legal system, private law, constitutional law and customary law.
