While studying bachelor’s in Renewable Energy Engineering at KTU, you will expand your engineering knowledge and skills, will master the knowledge on the use of environmentally friendly types of energy, on the application of solar, wind, hydro, biofuel heat pump technologies in the fields of electricity and heat. Your knowledge will be supplemented with practical workshops at state-of-the-art laboratories equipped by Siemens, Schneider Electric, Omicron, ABB, and DE Lorenzo.

The Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy (EERE) department at Oregon Tech offers the following programs at two of the Oregon Tech campuses, the Klamath Falls campus in southern Oregon, and the Portland-Metro campus Wilsonville.

Environmental engineering is an exciting field that addresses how to keep our water, air, and land clean enough to sustain human development and healthy ecosystems. In the future, environmental engineers will tackle the next wave of technical challenges such as building and operating sustainably, designing more energy-efficient processes and structures, and generating renewable energy sources.

In the field of Power Engineering, there are first-cycle (engineering) studies in full-time (day) and part-time (extramural). After completing the 7-semester studies, the graduate receives the professional title of an engineer.
