The programme aims to equip students with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of psychology and enables them to apply this knowledge in various work settings, including social welfare, education and healthcare. Graduates can pursue careers in psychology and related fields.

Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Psychology the program aims to provide a basic curriculum conforming to standards that are comparable to local and overseas universities, but also concentrations that develop students’ intellectual capacity and ability to apply psychological knowledge and skills in the workplace in three interrelated areas of concentration - (1) School Psychology, (2) Health Psychology, and (3) Human Relations and Communication.

The Psychology major provides students with comprehensive training in psychology with an emphasis on experimental and research competencies, and prepares students for professional development in human service careers and advanced training in professional psychology and related fields.
