With the option to specialise in one of four areas – Media and Politics, Comparative Politics, Global Security, or Europe in the World – students can tailor their education to align with their professional aspirations and deepen their expertise in their chosen field.

Undergraduate Program in Political Science is addressed primarily to the high school graduates. The Program is fee-paying. The language is English. The courses within the studies are both theoretical (aimed at developing the theoretical knowledge of political science issues) and practical, including courses preparing students to do research. The Programme consists of obligatory and optional courses (the latter enables students to develop their individual path of studies). Particular emphasis is placed on issues concerning European integration as well as Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Political science studies are practical studies that enable the acquisition of classical political science knowledge and skills that allow it to be used in social and professional life. The studies include elements of history, law, philosophy, sociology and economics.

The studies prepare the graduate to analyze, plan and organize activities in the field of national security, incl. through the ability to analyze threats to national security, identify goals in the field of national defense, and ensure social security.

The 3-year BA programme gives students core knowledge of European politics, culture, and society, whilst emphasizing Europe’s role in a wider global framework. Key concepts, such as culture, identity, diversity, democratic processes, Europeanisation and globalization are discussed in an interdisciplinary manner. Tackling European affairs through a sociological, political and economic lens, students gain a cross-sectional awareness of the many challenges contemporary societies are facing.

The educational offer is addressed to all people who are interested in security issues and will be occupied with safety in the future. During their studies, students will acquire knowledge, practical skills and social competences that allow them to function in the security environment of the modern world and in the sphere of internal security of local communities.

Internal Security, specialization: Intelligence and Counterintelligence. First-cycle studies last 6 semesters and end with obtaining a bachelor's degree. The specialization prepares graduates to work in State Security Institutions, especially secret services, the police, institutions dealing with internal and external security of the state, including analytical centers.

Graduates acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform administrative tasks connected with security and crisis management. They are prepared for work and service in institutions and units responsible for a country's internal and external security.
