This BA course explores the many ways in which the cinematographer participates in the collaborative process of translating screenplays into meaningful and stimulating films. We work in pre-production, on set as well as on color correction as we believe in including the cinematographer on all stages of the filmmaking process. Exercises, workshops, and masterclasses with one of the most renowned names of Polish cinematography. Critical and analytical study of the history and development of cinematography gives our students a solid foundation in the art and craft of their future careers. The aim is to improve and expand the students' technical knowledge and skills using all of the above-mentioned methods of image capture. Cinematography graduates who complete their studies in Poland are in big demand in Europe as well as the North American continent, being hired for commercials, videos as well as big-budget productions. The Department of Percussion at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, the first of its kind in Poland, is a leading center for percussion education and performance. With a tradition dating back to 1957, it offers versatile training across classical, jazz, and contemporary music, enriched by master classes with world-class artists. Students regularly perform at concerts and festivals, take part in the prestigious National Jerzy Zgodziński Percussion Competition, and achieve top prizes in international contests, making the Department a hub of excellence and innovation in percussion.

Classes are taught by experts working on some of the best video and mobile games in Poland, so you can put the knowledge you gain into practise while you are still studying. During your studies you will learn to work with game development engines and become familiar with specialised graphics software (Unreal Developer Kit, Unity, Autodesk and Adobe Package) and the secrets of level design. The Section of Brass Band Conducting is a substantive unit of the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. It began its activities in 2019 as part of the Conducting major. The impetus for the establishment of the Section was the dynamically developing specialty of brass band conducting, functioning since 2010 at the then Department of Choral Studies. Its graduates serve as conductors of military orchestras in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, and also conduct various types of brass bands affiliated with local cultural centers.

Established in 2015, the Department of Jazz Performance and Interpretation (formerly known as the Department of Jazz Instrumental and Vocal Performance) currently operates within the structure of the Institute of Jazz and Popular Music. Its main tasks include initiating and conducting artistic, research, academic and teaching work of the associated pedagogues. One of the most essential elements of its activity is organizing concerts, academic conferences, master classes and open lectures conducted by its members as well as invited artists from Poland and abroad. The Department also collaborates with secondary music education, organizing workshops, methodological courses or providing substantive supervision for pilot subjects in jazz and popular music.

The program is structured in such a way that it allows students to focus either on a selected part of the world, or specific global problems and challenges.

B.Sc. Architecture provides students with knowledge and skills for the creative process of planning and designing, in urban and rural areas.  You will learn about architectural tools, as well as a variety of interdisciplinary subjects related to architecture and the planning process.

Thi program blends academic theory with practical skills to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge they need in order to find a job in the competitive field of film and games industry. Students learn the professional skills necessary to become a film or video games director. Students will work on each others' productions with different crews, directors, cinematographers, actors, producers, game designers and receive a practical experience that helps to prepare upon entering the film and video game industry. Each student makes 4 films /exercises during the academic year plus the end of year film, all in close cooperation with other students of different specialization.
