Our environment is fascinating – but it’s under threat from climate change, biodiversity loss and resource depletion. Explore the consequences and implications of environmental change for sustainability from a scientific perspective, by learning about the processes, links and interactions operating in different environments.

The Bachelor’s Programme in Science and Engineering is a cross-disciplinary degree program that provides you with a solid grounding in several core fields of engineering and the ability to follow rapid technological developments and apply scientific methods. The major subjects available in the Natural Sciences and Mathematics track are Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Biomedical Engineering.

The Rosenstiel School Undergraduate Program offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree options. The program curriculum includes sciences, mathematics, and liberal arts, allowing students to develop interests in and appreciation of the arts, humanities, and social sciences as well as the natural sciences. ACT and SAT waived/not required/optional!

The program in BSc in Earth Sciences provides a general bachelor-level education in earth sciences and also offers the possibility to specialize in Geology. It includes introductory modules in Nature sciences, Geology, and also to Geography. The core of the program is based on the fundamental issues of earth sciences and includes topics in Astronomy, Cartography, Geomorphology, Geophysics, Geochemistry, Hydrology, Meteorology, Palaeontology, Paleoclimatology, Remote sensing, Stratigraphy, etc. while a strong regional geographical aspect is also present. The program includes a limited variety of human geographical courses too.
