The BA in Music degree has 3 successive levels: Level 1 à Level 2, à Level 3. Each level takes one academic year to complete and is worth a specific number of credits. The levels are divided into two semesters.

With our BA (Honours) in Music degree, you'll learn how music is created, study a wide range of styles, and unlock your creativity. This degree will broaden and deepen your understanding of musical practices, encompassing Western art music, jazz, popular music, and non-Western music. 

We have been running educational projects since 1996 in the field of electroacoustic music, video art and design, presenting a special role in the faculty, where both of the fine arts and classical music students cooperate in the projects. With the BA in Electronic Music and Media Arts, we cover the gap in the study of electronic music and in a wider perspective, specialize in the arts of new media.

The music program is affiliated with the Division of Performing, Visual and Digital Media Arts at CSU Dominguez Hills.
