Students will study sociology to learn about the role of welfare and health care in an ever-changing society and psychology to better understand the mechanisms of the human mind. Through corporate society and human communication classes, they will also learn communication skills and become proactive in discovering problems and solving them on their own.

Social welfare and mental health welfare professionals are called social workers. The social work major is designed to provide national qualifications and teach the knowledge and skills necessary for becoming a social worker, all while seeking “what happiness is”. A great variety of subjects unique to welfare are available in this program, and students can freely select subjects based on their plans or themes that they want to pursue.

As society ages, the birth rate decreases, and many people are highly stressed, so how to sustain health is important for people of all ages and genders to understand. Students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to promote the health of the mind and body while also working toward obtaining relevant accreditation.
