The IPLA International Trade Engineer is a professional prepared to develop the management, direction, and control of companies linked to national and international organizations, markets, and environments, with the ability to apply specialized knowledge at strategic, tactical, and legal levels of trade. He is trained to manage the processes of import and export of goods and services, formulate international market research projects and determine the export potential.

This graduate may perform various tactical and strategic roles within organizations in the public and/or private area and, related to the international trade of goods and services, regulatory institutions, maritime port companies, financial institutions and those that are oriented in developing advisory consulting activities for national and international markets.
