Human geography is the study of the relationships between people and their environment and region. Students taking this course analyze and consider the relationship between people and their environment as well as people and space using a variety of models and frameworks. Human Geography and Urban-Rural Planning Major: This major was established in 2012, formerly known as "Resources Environment and Urban-Rural Planning Management", and was renamed in 2013. Starting in 2013, it will enroll 60 students for each grade, and the school system will be four years. There are currently 11 full-time teachers, with laboratories that meet the teaching needs and relatively advanced equipment; the teaching effect is obvious, and several characteristic directions such as surveying, planning and mapping, and geography teaching have been basically formed; the development process of cities around our province and prefecture Accelerated, the development of industries such as real estate, construction, and planning and mapping has provided graduates with a large number of employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. The employment rate of students is relatively high and has remained above 90% in recent years.

Global Geography addresses globalization and place-making among people in their social and physical worlds. You will learn to analyze the links between cities and the world economy, understand processes of uneven development and inequality, and learn how migration and mobility shape our politics and society. Global Geography engages climate change and environmental processes through a distinctive mix of physical science, geographical information systems (GIS), and social science. Geographers work across boundaries: thinking through problems using diverse approaches at multiple scales, from the local landscape around us to the global human impact on the earth today.
