This interdisciplinary program is related to psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, and linguistics. This broad topic encompasses perception, the control of attention and motor responses, the formation of mental representations, the dynamics of memory retrieval, learning, cognitive development and cognitive breakdown, reasoning, language, and problem-solving mechanisms.

The program of study Medicine (English) was founded in 1995.
After 6 years of study and passing the license exam, the graduates get the diploma of Medical Doctor. The graduates obtain these professional skills following theoretical and practical subjects in our faculty and five clinical hospitals: Identification of the pathological conditions and correct diagnosis of the disease and/or associated diseases; Development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan for the condition (disease) identified; etc.

The study program aims to train physiotherapists able to help people improve their health or recover from various diseases; the students are taught different knowledge about the human body, the physiological functions and the behavior in health and disease conditions, the relationship between health and physical and social environment.

The Bachelor's degree programme INGINERIA OF FOOD PRODUCTS has as its general objective the training of technological specialists in the field of food industry; this program has been operating since 2009, being accredited in 2015 and has a duration of 4 years of studies, a day course with 240 credits, according to the Bologna Agreement.

The medical-veterinary education in Transylvania appeared over 220 years ago, with the establishment in 1785 in Cluj of the Surgical Medical Institute, within which a department of Veterinary Therapy functioned since 1787.

Romanian citizens, as well as the EU/EEA citizens, Swiss Confederation citizens and non-UE citizens, can apply for enrolment at this faculty according to the laws in force.
