Since the winter semester of 2015/16, the University of Siegen, together with the University of Orléans, has been offering the binational, six-semester bachelor's degree in European Business Communication as part of the German-French University (DFH), which leads to the German-French double degree Bachelor of Arts (BA) and License Langues Étrangères Appliquées (LEA) leads. Funded by the DFH, students study alternately at the Siegen and Orléans locations: the students spend the first year at their respective home university, in the second year they study together at the University of Orléans, before the German and French students start studying together for the third year return to the University of Siegen.
