Liberal Arts in Humanities is a 3-year study programme that provides wide knowledge in the humanities and develops intellectual abilities and critical thinking. The student is not limited to only one field, but has a choice of various humanities disciplines, such as anthropology, Asian studies, English studies, Eastern-European studies, literary and cultural studies, environmental humanities and cultural analysis. They are free to combine these disciplines into a tailor-made interdisciplinary curriculum according to their personal goals and interests.

The Liberal Arts in Social Sciences programme looks into various social sciences and teaches the student how to find common ground in fields ranging from psychology and education to law, economics, international relations and politics, and sociology. The program is a classical law program that teaches the basics of law and covers legal theory, private law, public law, and with a specialization in EU law and international law. We need increasingly more engineers whose knowledge is not limited to a single narrow subject, who can tie their knowledge and skills to IT, business and process management, product development, design and the digitalization of production.

Built-it and networked digital logic surround our everyday life more and more. On the one hand, it makes our life much easier, but on the other hand, it makes it also more vulnerable, because digital solutions aren´t sufficiently protected. In the worse case, by hacking into vulnerable systems, it's already realistic to explode the boilers in the houses, to cause long-time telephone and power outage, to stop, damage or even crash cars and trains, etc.

Assistant Pharmacist curriculum in English is unique in the Baltic Region and will be carried out for 3 years in a system of study cycles, including contact studies and mostly independent work and e-learning via Moodle and web-based seminars (e.g. Zoom). The contact studies period will vary between semesters, for example during I and II semester there will be 5 weeks and during III and IV semester there will be 3 weeks of contacts studies. The curriculum is focused on pharmacotherapy, pharmacology and phytotherapy with the aim to educate graduate pharmacy assistants who are ready to work in general pharmacies but are also able to work in pharmaceutical and health care companies.
