17 Engineering Bachelors Degree Programs in Indonesia

The establishment of Faculty of Engineering of Yogyakarta State University was started by opening B I/II course program in the year of 1956. This course program was aimed at enhancing the quality of teaching and educator staffs of vocational schools in Indonesia which was conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture such as in Bandung, Semarang, and Surabaya.

To build its economy, Indonesia needs an active participation of entrepreneurs. They create opportunities capable of absorbing available manpower. This can start at university that plays a vital role in producing working professionals with excellent competencies and high competitiveness.

The Computer Engineering study program Universitas Syiah Kuala was established on 20 January 2016 by the Ministry of Education decree no 46/KPT/I/2016 with “B” accreditation. The establishment of this program is part of updating scientific fields to deal with the rapid flow of developments in information and communication technology and the high level of global competition in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The Computer Engineering Study Program cover the design and engineering of computer systems and computer-based systems. The Computer Engineering has 3 (three) areas of specialization (expertise), namely: Embedded Systems, Computer Networks and HPC, and Multimedia Technology. The program's scientific studies include software development, with a focus on software design and engineering as an interface for digital devices (hardware) with users and with other devices (users). The Computer Engineering curriculum places more emphasis on hardware than software and/or there is a possibility of a balanced emphasis. Nevertheless, it still has a strong sense of engineering.

Faculty of Engineering was established in 1966, and currently organizes four undergraduate bachelor programs (S-1), namely Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Systems. Maranatha Christian University Faculty of Engineering aims to produce graduates who are able to formulate engineering problems of the technology needed by the people, skilled in the application and development of technology, dedicated, independent, and able to contribute to the improvement of people’s lives.

Industrial Engineering is the branch of engineering that is concerned with the Design, Improvement and Management of integrated systems –people, machines, materials, information, and energy– to make business work better. It is the best career for people who like to solve practical problems in a variety of working environments and develop systems to improve quality and productivity.

Study Program of Education of Informatics Engineering is one of the Engineering and Vocational Faculty departments, Ganesha University of Education (UNDIKSHA). It has been designed to develop science and technology and produce competent, innovative, cultured and highly competitive professional and educational human resources.

The UIC Engineering program offers an excellent course for students interested in this field. Apart from the comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum, it is also teaches students such skills as analytical skills, problem-solving skills and communication skills.

The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto founded on July 26, 1995 along with three other faculties within the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto namely the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Faculty of Fisheries.

The curriculum integrates engineering and industrial management with environmentally friendly process technology, commitment to improving the quality of education, for example by winning the Center Grant (1997-2000), QUE Project (2001-2004), Program B (2004-2006), PHKI (2007-). 2010), IMHERE (2010-2011).

Faculty of Industrial Technology prepares everything that Indonesian industries need. It provides studies from early industrialization to the 4.0 industry. Based on essential theories that students from this faculty learned, they design and create innovations, they create forward ideas in renewable energy research, and they also carry out industrial progress with creativity. All majors in Itenas are mutual to each other. They collaborate, and they integrate. These are the majors under the Faculty of Industrial Technology.

The Bachelor of ICT Business Management is one of the study programs in the School of Economic and Business-Telkom University, Indonesia which was established in 1997. Our ICT Business Management has a very sharp focus on management for the needs of the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) industry. With the thick color of ICT, graduates of the ICT Business Management Study Program can be accepted in the telecommunications industry and other industries that are aggressively using ICT in business processes.

Audio Music Production is for students who plan to enter professional music careers - those who are interested in the production process, sound engineering, as well as commercial music for advertisement, events, internet applications, and games.

There were four aspects of aid which was donated through World Bank Education Program IV, i.e. (1) the constructing of new building completed with lecturing offices, labs, and workshops; (2) improving lecturers competencies through domestic and foreign training; (3) fund for development and implementation program; (4) educational consultant support (expert from abroad).

The forerunner of the Universitas Jember came from the idea of dr. R. Achmad together with R. Th. Soengedi and RM Soerachman who aspire to establish a university in Jember. To realize these goals on April 1, 1957, the three of them formed a committee which was named Triumviraat Committee with the composition of the Chairperson dr. R. Achmad; Author R. Th. Soengedi, and Treasurer RM Soerachman.
