The Bachelor of Arts in Drama Concentration is designed to provide a broad base of experience in theatre arts. You will gain skills through practical inquiry, experimentation in theatre creation and performance, risk-taking and application of research and theory.

The Drama major, taken as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree, combines theory and practice within a well-rounded liberal arts setting. You will be exposed to every aspect of the theatrical process, including acting, clowning, and improvisation; playwriting, directing, production, and design; and critical analysis and theory. You’ll also have the opportunity to pursue your own independent project in research and/or practice.

Drama Studies provides an education in drama and theatre, introducing students to many areas of the discipline including acting, production, directing, design, dramatic theory, and literature. Get two degrees in five years by combining your studies in drama education from K-12.
