This is a five-year undergraduate program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). The study program and curriculum are at par with that of renowned international universities and dental institutes. The BDS program aims to: Educate and train a new generation of competent dental surgeons, who will be able to provide high-quality comprehensive oral healthcare with an emphasis on prevention.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in the Dental School at Queen's has been responsible for delivering dental education in Northern Ireland since 1920. The five-year dentistry degree programme at Queen’s University Belfast will help you build the professional behaviours, clinical operative skills, and confidence required to practice as a dental professional. During the programme you will develop a broad clinical experience on real patients, in a range of different clinical environments both within the dental school and in outreach placements.

Most graduates in Dentistry enter general practice on their own or in association with others. Some undertake postgraduate study and research training in preparation for an academic career. Others obtain further experience and complete postgraduate clinical qualifications before entering specialist practice.

Oral surgery

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery at EUC offers a modern curriculum based on the highest European and North American dental education standards. Students are trained in the fundamentals of human health and disease with relevance to the oral environment using a curriculum closely integrated to the biomedical sciences. Students undertake classes in state-of the-art facilities including the anatomy dissection room and clinical and technical skills labs with patient simulators and a range of dental equipment.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree offered by BUE is a five-year full-time programme of study as well as summer modules, and clinical summer training modules aimed primarily at educating and training graduates for an efficient dental practice in the new century.

The six-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery Program at Riyadh Elm University, Formerly Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy is a professional dentistry program where students are involved with clinical procedures from the outset of the program, with an emphasis on the recognition and prevention of oral diseases.

Our BDS is delivered over 5 years, where Year 1 & 2 covers Phase 1 Pre-Clinical Subjects. Year 3 onwards students cover Clinical Subjects and spend most of their time in our state-of-the-art facilities that include 3 Student Polyclinics with 51 dental units each as well as a well-equipped Prosthetic Laboratory.
