The BD in Theology with Pastoral Studies invites students to explore issues of Scripture and Christian belief, lived ethics, Christian spirituality, and mission.

Our BA course focuses on the core disciplines of theology, biblical studies, leadership and mission. There is a choice of two tracks, Biblical & Pastoral Theology or Theology & Missional Leadership. The course is aimed at equipping emerging church and mission workers, volunteers, ordinary church members and any prospective student to better appreciate the origins, development and application of the Christian message within a variety of cultural settings and learn a selection of basic ministry skills.

The first year of the BA (Hons) provides a foundation in the main sub-disciplines of theology: biblical studies, doctrine, history and practical ministry.

The OU-validated degree course is aimed at those preparing for long-term cross-cultural mission service and who appreciate the balance of practical and academic study.

This degree-level vocational and professional pathway will build on students' prior experiences and equip Christian youth and community workers for a range of ministries.

This degree is designed for those who would like to gain a solid grounding in Adventist history, theology, faith and the Bible but do not necessarily want to go into formal ministry.

Our BA (Hons) in Theology validated by the University of Manchester offers not only academic excellence, but also a range of routes and patterns of study from which you can select to match your needs, interests and circumstances.

This modular* full-time course is aimed at those who have an undergraduate degree in another subject. It provides vocational and practical training including theological study, placements, preaching and involvement in the prayer and devotions of the college at a level designed to stretch students who have previously studied at undergraduate level.

The BA in Philosophy and the Catholic Tradition allows students to encounter those outstanding figures in the history of philosophy who are also major figures in the history of Catholic thought. The course also presents the Catholic tradition of philosophy to students as a living, dynamic reality, in critical and constructive dialogue with the other philosophical traditions at work in our contemporary culture.

Students who complete this course successfully will receive a degree from Durham University. The agreement between Bristol Baptist College and Durham University is reviewed every five years and began in September 2014.
