BCE is a three-year Bachelor's program, entirely delivered in English, focused on the Building itself, which aims to train engineers with wide-ranging international professional experience. The Faculty of Installation Engineering (FII) was established in 1949. The Faculty trains engineers specializing in the design, construction and operation of all systems in a building: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water and wastewater supply, lighting, aspects of building security (fire safety, burglary protection, etc.), energy production and distribution systems (thermal and cooling installations, renewable energies, heat distribution, electricity distribution), building automation and management systems. This field covers both the existing built environment, its rehabilitation and the design and construction of the built environment of the future.
