laboratory animal science is a fascinating, relatively new field of applied science which deals with the biology of animal models used in biomedical research, and their relationships to man and other animal species in regard to health and disease prevention. It offers career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, in government regulatory agencies, and in research and development organizations. The B.S. in Laboratory Animal Science is the degree of choice for students who are interested in pre-vet, pre-med, and preparation for advanced studies in human and animal health-related areas. Graduates also emerge with leadership skills in the area of animal welfare. The degree is the only program of its kind in North Carolina.

Trevecca's Pre-PA Pathway allows students to tailor their undergraduate academic experience to prepare a competitive PA school application and maximize success in Trevecca’s PA program. This pathway consists of the courses required for a major in biology with a minor in chemistry, along with defined upper-level electives focused on building a solid foundation for PA school.

Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) is a biology and chemistry-based degree that prepares students for a challenging and rewarding medical career. The results of the analyzation and evaluation aid physicians and other health professionals in both the diagnosis of disease and the management of health.

The Physician Assistant program at Thiel College features two distinct paths to earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies: Pathway 1 - Highly motivated high school seniors can enroll in our accelerated five-year program. Students will earn a traditional four-year bachelor’s degree in Health Systems and continue at Thiel for a fifth year to complete the master’s degree program. Please refer to the Health systems major for additional information regarding the undergraduate degree. Pathway 2 – Students who have already completed a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and wish to attain a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thiel College should explore our 27-month post-baccalaureate program.

The Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences is awarded jointly with Rutgers University School of Health Professions (Rutgers-SHP). Students must complete specified degree requirements at Felician University before they can enter Rutgers-SHP for their professional coursework.

Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) is a profession of highly knowledgeable and skilled individuals who perform clinical laboratory tests on blood, other body fluids, or tissue samples. This is a critical part of health care, as the results obtained by these laboratory tests are vital tools for physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

The Human Services program at CSU Dominguez Hills is a professional undergraduate major, normally extending over at least four semesters of upper division academic work.

This program gives you a strong foundation in abdominal, ob/gyn, breast, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and vascular medical imaging. When you graduate, you’ll be ready for your new career assisting physicians in the accurate detection and diagnosis of medical conditions.

As a radiation therapist, you will help your patients fight cancer or non-malignant diseases with your powers of precision, consistency, and compassion. In this program, you’ll learn how to accurately deliver radiation to expertly carry out radiation treatment plans. All while supporting your patients and their families and serving as a vital member of the patient care team.

As a nuclear medicine technologist, you have the power to capture not only how organs and tissues look, but also how they work. In this program, you'll learn to safely and compassionately administer radioactive drugs, or radiopharmaceuticals, to patients and obtain rapid-succession images where they concentrate in the body so that you can assist physicians in detecting, and even treating, certain medical conditions.

As a radiologic technologist, you have the power to capture essential information and help provide clarity. In this program, you’ll learn how to use ionizing radiation to create two-dimensional X-rays to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease.
