The LLB Honours Law Programme is offered at Middlesex University campuses in London, Mauritius and Dubai. This is the only 100% online and part-time LLB (Hons) Law, with no requirement to travel to assessment centres or complete timed examinations. It is a qualifying law degree (QLD) recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and a great first step to progress to the professional training stage to qualify as a legal professional. This academically rigorous SQE focused LLB (Hons) Law programme covers the seven foundations of legal knowledge. The syllabus is focused on the laws of England and Wales, but it also includes relevant global issues. Through the programme, you will develop critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, and presentation of legal argument skills through discussion forums with your fellow students. On completion of your degree, you will be ready to pursue legal training and also equipped to thrive in a wide range of careers in related sectors.

It is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the legal or wider commercial sector. The LLB has a practical focus on employability integrated into the course. There is a high level of face-to-face tuition. The law modules are delivered predominantly by professionally qualified lawyers. Students will study the key legal topics and related skills that are critical for the modern law student but also have a choice of options. The course is delivered over two semesters per academic year.

Our LLB Business with Law allows you to gain a crucial awareness of the law within its social and business contexts, and enables you to develop the critical, reflective and analytical skills required to succeed within the complementary disciplines of law and business.

This course is designed to be the most focused professional law degree available. It's designed for students who wish to study a practically focused intensive course in two years, and wish to pursue a career in the legal sector. It’s a faster more intensive route, taught by the same tutors and using the same high-quality teaching methods as our three-year law degree.

Throughout the program of studies, emphasis is placed upon the practical application of law. Students are required to do a major research project accomplished in the research seminar under the guidance of a professor of the Faculty of Canon Law. The JCL degree enables clergy, religious, and lay persons to hold a variety of roles in tribunals and diocesan curias. It also prepares them to serve as key leaders and advisors in dioceses, religious institutes, societies of apostolic life, and various Catholic organizations. The JCL is always pursued concurrently with the Master in Canon Law.
