13 Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree Programs

The four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts has US accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This program offers a conservatory and holistic approach to the performing arts, one that not only concentrates on performance from a participatory perspective (that is to say, on being a performer), but also prepares students for the wide and exciting range of careers available in the performing arts industry.

The four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Creative Writing covers all aspects of written communication, with particular emphasis on those that lie outside the purely academic and technical fields. Creative writing draws on the author’s imaginative capacity, stylistic felicity, and originality of composition, insight and expression.

The four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre has US accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). This program offers a conservatory and holistic approach to musical theatre training, one that not only concentrates on a participatory performance perspective but also prepares students for a wide and exciting range of careers available in the performing arts industry.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design provides an in-depth study of the field of graphic design. The degree prepares students to enter a career in design, advertising, marketing, or other fields of visual communication. It is a creative practice that draws from a range of fields including visual arts, technology, psychology, sociology, and business. Graphic designers are strategic thinkers, problem solvers, and makers of visual stories that inform, advocate, and persuade.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking is a three-year generalist degree in the art and craft of filmmaking, with emphasis on hands-on instruction coupled with practical exercises in all the essentials of film and television production including directing, production, editing, cinematography and screenwriting. There are two production periods: midterm and final. Final projects must be submitted to and selected by the Greenlighting Committee in order to be produced.
