The program provides a broad understanding of the American business system and establishes a base for good citizenship in our democratic society, as well as teaches basic business principles and fundamental skills essential for success in either a large or small business.

Logistics Management is concerned with the movement, storage, and processing of materials and information across the whole of the supply chain, from the acquisition of raw materials and components, through manufacturing, to delivery of finished products to end-users. The concentration in Logistics Management prepares graduates for careers in purchasing and supplier management, manufacturing logistics, transportation management, inventory, distribution, and warehouse management, information management, and customer service management.

Supply Chain Management is a cross-functional discipline involving the movement of products, the use of business resources, the flow of information, and the deployment of services in the chain. These activities often include procurement, logistics, assembly, production, sales and marketing, distribution, delivery, and customer support. In essence, the supply chain is the process that focuses on producing and distributing the product and dealing with the suppliers and logistics to ensure the product gets to the market and its customers.

With a global supply chain management degree, you will gain practical knowledge and skills in supply chain operations and be well prepared for a range of professional positions in the in-demand field of logistics and supply chain management.
