The major is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in theater, but who are not interested in performing. Students can choose to concentrate on one or more of the following areas: Scenery, Costumes, Lighting, Sound, and Technical Direction.

Our theatre students work on five major productions on the Harman Auditorium stage each year. Productions range from two children’s theatre offerings to literary classics and Christian drama. As a theatre major, you’ll learn essential skills in rigorous coursework and through hands-on opportunities in production, design, and construction.
