The Bachelor of Arts (International Advanced Access) has been specifically designed for students who have completed an associate degree in North America and wish to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Limerick (UL). Students can transfer seamlessly to UL after completing their two-year associate degree in North America. They then complete two years at UL and gain their Bachelor of Arts degree from our institution.

This degree equips students with the essential knowledge and critical skills needed to understand Irish, EU and global political systems, globalisation, international relations and global development. Complementary subjects such as history, geography, sociology and optional language studies broaden understanding further.

In recent decades counselling and psychotherapy have had a major contribution to the alleviation of distress and suffering in the everyday human experience of loss, bereavement, trauma, depression, choice and relationships.
