The BA (Hons) Theatre Industry Practice is a hands-on, skills-led course designed for aspiring performers, producers, and technical theatre professionals. Created in response to industry demand, this program immerses students in a range of disciplines, from acting and directing to stage management, lighting, and set design. With expert-led training, live theatre productions, and specialized placements, students gain real-world experience to launch successful careers in the dynamic performing arts industry.

Aim of the program in BA in Orchestral and Choral Conducting: To educate musicians who - with their performing skills, theoretical knowledge, and highly developed musical abilities - enrich and spread the Hungarian and  European music culture. They can enrich the repertoire of musical knowledge with their sophisticated musical taste and are able to work in musical institutions, professional performing ensembles and in other occupations which require music education.

We have been running educational projects since 1996 in the field of electroacoustic music, video art and design, presenting a special role in the faculty, where both of the fine arts and classical music students cooperate in the projects. The Mason School of Music is part of the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Students study with nationally and internationally recognized faculty who are active performers, conductors, composers, music theoreticians, historians, and music teachers. Admission is based on acceptance to the university and audition. The music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).

Central's BA (Hons) Acting (Musical Theatre) degree course provides you with the skills to work in classical and contemporary theatre, musicals, feature film, television and radio. Throughout the course, you will explore acting through a range of contemporary approaches to sung and spoken voice, movement and dance. As an actor, you will interrogate both musical and non-musical settings ranging from Shakespeare and the modern American realists to Sondheim and the popular musical. As the course progresses you will acquire the necessary skills for the realization of ‘character’ in both the transformational and heightened theatrical styles of both spoken and sung performance. The course has outstanding links with the performing arts industry and this is reflected in the wide range and high percentage of graduate employment. Students are entitled to full Equity status upon graduation.
