The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme consists of 24 courses, of which 8 courses are at 100-level, 8 courses are at 200-level, and 8 courses are at 300-level, including 2 x 100-level university courses and 2 x 200-level university courses. Students who enroll in the three-year BA degree programme may take Mathematics as a single major, a double major, or a minor.

The B.A. degree in Mathematics with Teacher Licensure is a focused major in Mathematics aimed at preparing students for teaching mathematics in secondary grades. Students seeking a mathematics teacher licensure must complete a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, which includes some upper-level courses in Mathematics Education, and a minor in Secondary Education from the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K-12 Education. There are scholarships for math and science teachers.
