The Degree in BA in Romance Philology and Cultures (Specialization in French Studies) Licence en philologie romane (Spécialité d’Études françaises) intends to train experts in the humanities with in-depth knowledge and skills regarding French and Francophone language, literature, linguistics, and civilization.

The purpose of this course is to give students an overview of the history of midwifery, from ancient times through the present. Learning Objectives: Students will understand the evolution in childbirth practices throughout known history Students will evaluate the changes of the role of midwives and power imbalances among gender, socioeconomic status, religious status, etc. and the impact on maternal and fetal health and outcomes.
