Building on its close relationship with the Drama, Applied Theatre and Education course, Writing for Performance focuses on socially engaged practice whilst introducing students to the dramaturgical skills of writing.

BA in English with Creative Writing Students undertaking English at Queen's explore literatures in English in the widest possible sense and work with some of the leading writers working in the UK and Ireland. From the earliest writings in Anglo-Saxon to contemporary Irish, British, and 'global' literature, students study English in its historical, cultural, and material contexts.

Are you a budding novelist, Netflix screenwriter or experimental poet? On this degree, you'll learn the art and craft of writing in all its forms.
