7 Ceramics BA Degree Programs

Our BA in Ceramics Design program offers an opportunity to practice and improve in a wide range of activities. Students are introduced to the possibility of experimenting and combining design, material research, 3D design, and 3D printing, a wide range of materials from paper to concrete. We believe in studio-focused education and training. The campus is located on the premises of the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, where the beautiful historical buildings are filled with the atmosphere of pure culture. We are the only training center in Hungary where students can experience such a wide scale of design and making which will enable our students to solve assignments related to either design, craftsmanship, autonomous works of art, or contemporary architecture alike.

The Department of Ceramics offers a specialist programme that combines traditional production techniques and contemporary art. The four-year BA (Hons) degree programme in the field of ceramics and glass art has the vision of providing students with practical skills in creating and presenting their own original works through workshops and learning material chemistry and traditional techniques.

Fredonia’s Ceramics program will expose you to both traditional and contemporary methods of creative expression with clay. You will develop extensive hand-building techniques and skill on the potter's wheel as well as the technical knowledge for managing ceramics glazing and firing.

Visual arts are a necessary and vital part of contemporary society. The Louisiana Christian University Art Department trains students to have a positive Christian impact on society by providing a serious study of the visual arts in all its forms and contexts so that they may more fully dialogue with the professional art world. A series of studio, lecture, and seminar courses provide a learning environment for students which nurtures their technical and philosophical skills in a distinctively Christian and academically rigorous environment. These studies develop the aptitudes within students which prepare them for either graduate school or entering directly into the art and design marketplace.

The BA (Hons) Fine Art course, validated by the world-renowned University of the Arts London (UAL), is a three-year course that will prepare students with the knowledge and skills required to lead the local and regional art scene as a holistic, reflective and engaged art practitioner.
