The three-year General Arts program offers students the opportunity to engage critically with the multifaceted nature of the human experience over the centuries and in the modern world. Choose between a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (BHK) with a streaming focus in Sport and Leisure Management or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sport and Leisure Management, which offers courses in public relations, communication and advanced marketing.

The BA Dual Honors is our most advanced arts program. It combines two in-depth training, the first in history, and the other in international studies or intercultural leadership.

Our BA specializing in French studies will allow you to hone your reading and writing skills, but above all to carry out an in-depth study of French literature, linguistics, history and cultures.

If you are interested in music and another subject area, a BA (Music) allows you to explore your interests in the sciences, social sciences and humanities, while still focusing on music. Through our classical music programs, you can choose a performance route and receive one-on-one instruction from master performer-teachers. Entrance to studio courses is dependent on a successful audition.

At Carleton, you can structure your BA according to what you want to achieve. You can pursue an intensive four-year Honors degree or a three-year General program.
