5 Administration BA Degree Programs

First-cycle studies in the field of Administration give the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge in the field of social sciences, especially law and administration, as well as basic economic knowledge along with specialist skills supported by professional practice.

The Art Administration program is intended for students with an interest in the visual and performing arts and a desire to pursue careers in the administration or management of arts organizations such as museums, theater companies, orchestras, and choruses. The program combines a broad exposure to the arts with significant training in management, marketing, event planning, strategic planning writing, development, and digital communication.

The Bachelor of Arts in Administration is designed especially for the transfer student. It contains a professional sequence of business courses that will provide students with the necessary background in administration for entry-level positions. This degree permits the student to customize his/her plan by giving the option of utilizing previous academic work in a single discipline or adding a minor that can complement current job requirements or prepare for future goals.

The business administration minor (18 credits) provides students a foundation and builds on that with a higher level study of the functional areas of business. Capping off the minor is BUS 311 or BUS 324 which develops integrative knowledge of business.

The Arts Administration minor introduces students to the fundamentals of planning, financing, and managing live performing arts events. Required practical experience in our campus Ticket Office and our six theatres and concert halls makes this minor a valuable enhancement to Bachelor's Degrees in the arts, business, or communications.
