Most aviation management programs are designed for students who wish to work in business positions within this industry. Students may take courses in aviation, management, operations and safety, along with general courses in math, science, communication and business.

There are several institutions for higher learning located throughout Puerto Rico, with The University of Puerto Rico being the oldest and largest. As a territory of the United States, citizens may have access to additional opportunities for education.
