The Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering offers specific training in areas related to industrial electronics, automation, and robotics. Its goal is to create professionals who can function effectively in strategic work environments related to automation processes, electronic energy management, instrumentation of equipment and systems, robotics, renewable energy, electric transportation, domotics, and industrial electronic systems, among others.

This includes, for example, sophisticated systems for the perception and interpretation of sensorial information, as well as manipulation processes and systems. Prior to this proximity to the production line, it is necessary to interact with the machines and interconnect them in communications networks, in an environment of industrial informatics. Building advanced machines is, therefore, an objective that requires solid knowledge and competences in Mechanical and Electrotechnical Engineering, among others.

Automation is one of the main progress engines acting in all fields of modern human activities. The study programme prepares the Bachelors of control systems who are able to develop, design, install, and service the most simple equipment automation and the most complex technological processes, as well as transport flow control systems by using classical and modern automation solutions, artificial intellect, and computer-based sensors.
